Larchmont Associates
Larry Zucker, LCSW

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My practice is dedicated to working with individuals, couples and adolescents. I earned my B.A. degree with a double major in History and Political Science with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and my M.A. degree in Psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute.

I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, providing assistance in both agency and private practice settings.

For five years, I worked with individuals and families at the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic and was a clinician for several years with Swanson, Conti and Associates in Encino. I have worked with individual adults and couples in private practice and at the California Family Counseling Center in Encino. I am a supervisor at Southern California Counseling Center and provide workshops at medical practices and counseling centers teaching ways to support couples and individuals facing infertility challenges. I am a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Areas of clinical emphasis include:

• Men dealing with concerns about relationship, work and/or fatherhood
• Individuals and Couples facing fertility challenges
• Couples disconnected in relationship
• Adolescents navigating the difficulties of becoming adults

I help clients understand that although their feelings of stress, anxiety, depression or relational conflict may sometimes seem all encompassing - those problems do not define who they are. Using a collaborative and relational framework, I work with clients to create new ways of responding to old problems so that they are no longer defined by those challenges, but empowered to find new solutions.
