Larry Zucker, LCSW

My approach to therapy is one of active collaboration between therapist and client. I help to clarify the unique preferences and understanding each client seeks. I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist who works with individuals, couples and families in my private practice. Drawing from Post-Modern philosophies and holistic awareness-based approaches, I invite clients to explore possibilities, identify strengths and skills, and gain traction toward realizing the
changes they seek.

As an undergraduate, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology
from Middlebury College and then went on to receive my Master of Arts
degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. I have focused
my post-graduate development on work with couples and families, sex
and intimacy, addiction, trauma, anxiety and depression. I draw from
my experience as a supervisor at a teen suicide hotline at Cedars
Sinai Hospital. Before going into private practice I spent my intern years at
the Southern California Counseling Center, where I am now a supervisor.
